Open Verse Principal, Rob Goodman, recently moderated a panel at Uncharted Minds first Design Gurus Summit, where he was able to pick the brains of some of the most influential and brand-focused companies today to get to the heart of what it takes to build a meaningful brand in the 21st century. 432PRESS™ is Butchershop's bespoke printing press for art, business collateral, posters, letterpress workshops and events. We’re now taking reservations for private letterpress workshops, a one-hour crash course designed to introduce you to the art and craft of letterpress printing. More details inside.
Our work environment is the ambassador of Butchershop’s values, which means our office space mirrors our culture and vision. We recently moved our San Francisco HQ to 432 Clay Street. We thoughtfully created the office with the mindset of a global agency. And look, we don’t like to boast, but this place is a damn idea factory.
We spend a lot of time discussing the importance of a client's unique story and how it can help reach and, possibly, inspire others. Butchershop, too, has a unique story and we think it's fitting that we immortalize that story on a custom, 8 foot tall Butchershop totem pole.
This year we’re proud to support AIGA and San Francisco Design Week 2016 as a larger sponsor. We’ve co-created some eclectic and impactful programming that stretches the boundaries of creativity, showcases our thought leadership, and gives you unbridled access to a delicious pile of meat. Check out the schedule and grab some tickets.
There comes at least one awkward moment in every creative person’s life when they’re asked to put a price on their work. And then there’s a lot of hemming and hawing and maybe even some indignation, because money undermines artistry, right? It’s taboo to talk about money. But why?
We’re inviting everyone to come in for a letterpress workshop and print their own unofficial SF Design Week poster on our behemoth letterpress—and we need your help to decide which poster design is Design Week worthy, so cast your vote!
