Design
Internship

Thanks for checking out our internship program. Each summer we bring on a team of three interns—one designer, one copywriter, and one strategist—to work alongside our team of about 100 global employees.

During your three months with us, you’ll be producing real work for real clients. You’ll also get feedback on your work from various members of our team, and you’ll leave here better at your discipline than when you arrived.

Obviously.

Less obvious is the way you’ll be expected to work with us. Because we are in the business of problem-solving, it’s crucial that you have the ability to think creatively about a client’s business problem. That means generating ideas and seeing them through to fruition. What does the client really need? What will get them there? How do we convince them it’s the right approach?

These are just a few of the problems we spend much of our time-solving. And we arrive at those solutions together, in meetings, on the proverbial whiteboard, as a team, connected regardless of where we each are (this is a fully remote position).

If this sounds like you—a collaborator with a passion for culture and a knack for finding fresh solutions to complex creative problems—then we’d love to see what you’ve got.

Talk soon.

About Us

Founded in 2008, Butchershop is a growth and transformation company that has five core service offerings: Strategy + Consulting, Brand + Content, Digital + Product, Performance and Media, Venture + Incubation (Imaginedby®). We connect consulting, creativity and technology to help brands break into emerging markets or break out to lead them.

A hundred and fifteen employees and growing, we embrace the global, fluid nature of today’s world of work. Our cross-disciplinary teams operate in 8 cities and 3 countries, with offices in San Francisco, Guadalajara and Vienna and hubs in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. This allows us to build more diverse teams, partner with clients from around the world, and balance in-person collaboration, travel, and individual freedom to produce the best work — for our clients and for our people.

As experts in emerging markets, we not only provide solutions for our clients and their businesses, we build and launch our own. Butchershop’s smart incubator and venture studio, Imaginedby™, combines build, brand, and business advisory services with venture funding to develop products and co-create them with founders. And we have successfully launched multiple programs and initiatives such as Priio®, World’s Greatest Internship + Talent Network, and most recently, Equity for Equality, which has raised over $200,000 in funds for organizations fighting for diversity, equity and inclusion in BIPOC creative communities.
