Butchershop Recognized by C2A Awards

It’s that time of the year again. That time when our work gets noticed and oh-it-feels-so-good. The C2A Creative Communication Awards, the sister organization to the renowned International Design Awards, celebrate creative excellence and outstanding ideas in communication design, advertising, and digital media. As an international awards program for the world-wide creative community, they’re in charge of selecting and rewarding the best client partner creative solutions out there. And three of our projects were chosen for their design excellence, impact, emotional significance, technological innovation, utility, effectiveness and overall originality.

We are very proud to share these awards with our client partners, who trusted Butchershop to take risks, and create significant work in the process. Recognition is one of the key ingredients to a great company culture. We don’t gloat or celebrate for long, but taking a moment to acknowledge our hard work is important.

Our work with Mountain Hardwear (a Columbia Sportswear Company) to reposition them from an outdoor legacy brand to one that celebrates the creativity of climbing won a C2A Award. We applied strategic thinking to several touch points and initiatives, but it was our approach and results to their retail experiences, product displays, and customer journeys that were particularly notable. Transparent House created an AR application for customers to experience all the new gear and innovations through an immersive experience. That experience also won “Best in Show” at this years Outdoor Retailer tradeshow.

The second C2A Award was given to our At-Bay brand team. Famed startup At-Bay (based in Menlo Park and Tel Aviv) approached us with a difficult task: define their brand strategy and give them a higher purpose in the land of cyber insurance. After establishing their purpose — to help companies embrace technology fearlessly — we created a brand that positioned them as the smarter, more personable company for both brokers and CSO’s and CFO’s to work with. After our work launched, Rotem Iram and team were able to secure their next round of funding $13m as a series A, and are currently raising another round.

Our third C2A Award recognized our work for grocery plus startup Good Eggs, based here in San Francisco. Our teams worked closely to glean insights and customer data to ultimately take a hard look at today’s modern dinner table. We saw an opportunity to go against the stereotypical image of a “perfect home, perfect family” that currently floods the market. Our campaign stemmed off the big idea of “an absurdly new golden age of food.” And we asked ourselves: What does that look like? The beautiful spots exceeded expectations, outperforming on every channel.
