How to wow and create exceptional experiences

There’s a sea of people and brands doing good things today. But who is doing them exceptionally? The exceptional ones are shaping economies and markets, technologies, culture, and people. They’re being bold. They’re standing for a strong and different point of view. They’re standing aside from the rest. They know their customers and audience expect exceptional products or services.

So we boil this down to one thing—find one tweak to make the simplest thing more memorable.

We invited Jeremiah Miller of Forging Leaders to coach us on how to wow and create remarkable experiences. Here are a few takeaways:

1. There is so much noise and distraction in the modern world that if you want your message to be noticed and given attention, you must find a way to stand out. Being slightly better or different isn’t enough, you must be remarkable.

2. Remarkable is defined as: being so powerful, different, or delightful, that people can’t help but tell others about the experience.

3. The way to create a remarkable experience is to “break the script.” You must find delightful ways to surprise people and defy expectations.

4. We feel comfortable when we get a consistent experience, we feel alive when we’re surprised. Your job is to make people feel alive.

With these points in mind, we can create enduring and exceptional experiences and moments of impact. Recognition might get you far but remarkable is what makes people remember. Take a chance today and pick one thing in your life (it can be small) and make it remarkable. When you’re ready to apply it to your brand, drop us a line.
